Key Lessons Learned on My Path to Holistic Healing
Key Lessons Learned on My Path to Holistic Healing
- by Quantum University
Integrative medicine doctor and Quantum University Alumnus, Isabella Ivory, didn’t have a straightforward path to holistic healing. But, with Quantum University, she fostered her passions and learned to face whatever challenge came her way through implementing balance.
When you first meet Isabella Ivory, it’s hard to miss her unwavering positivity. This was not always apparent in her early life but grew as she learned to heal holistically. Isabella’s focus on personal growth first through finding balance, followed by helping clients with their most difficult ailments, pushes her to learn more daily. Her story inspires people to keep spirit-searching for their passions and, when they find them, to pursue them wholeheartedly.
Managing Difficult Beginnings
Isabella’s journey to becoming a holistic healer was not an easy one. Growing up, she experienced significant challenges, including moving around due to her parent’s divorce. However, being born in New Delhi, India, and living in many countries like Germany, Holland, and Italy, she considers herself a global citizen. Currently settled in Dublin, Ireland, Isabella loves being surrounded by the city’s hills and emerald pastures.
At 15, Isabella wanted to drop out of school, but her father insisted that she continue with her classes and exams. Despite not studying for them, she managed to pass enough of them to finish her schooling. She went on to earn double Bachelor’s (honors) degrees and double Masters degrees and is currently pursuing her PH.D. – not at all what she had imagined at 15.
Always having a passion for art and the visual arts, she thought working in a museum surrounded by art would bring her joy. However, she felt that something was missing in her life. That’s when her health difficulties began. Dealing with stress led to mental and physical consequences, and Isabella’s health deteriorated. This instilled the curiosity of healing in her, encouraging further growth.
Finding Motivation in Mind-Based Healing
In conjunction with health complications, her interest in films like The Secret and The Law of Attraction inspired Isabella to walk the path of healing. One of the first modalities of healing that Isabella explored was Theta Healing, a technique that involves elements of hypnosis and quickly accesses the Theta Brainwave. This led her to further explore mind-based healing and other modalities like the DaSilva method.
As she studied various ancient healing sciences, including Ayurveda, Chinese medicine, and the Greek history of healing, Isabella found that they all seemed to have a common essence: the idea that the mind can be used to heal the body.
According to Isabella, the body is an energy being that is influenced by a variety of factors, including our thoughts, past experiences, beliefs, traumas, triggers, nutrition, rest, and physical, emotional, and spiritual environments. Achieving the correct states to promote healing takes knowledge and practice, and Isabella found herself fascinated by the various angles and components of this mystery.
Ultimately, Isabella found that finding balance and maintaining physical and mental health requires a deep understanding of oneself and what one needs – or doesn’t need – to thrive. It’s a 24-hour, non-stop job that involves constant self-reflection and exploration.
Opening a Healing Practice
Isabella thought back to her youth and always recognized a pull to medicine. From ensuring she got the proper vitamins and nutrients in her food to trying all the new health fads, she noted a consistent interest in medicine. Still, without a background in science, she doubted her ability to pursue healing. However, after studying well-known healers like Dr Joe Dispenza and Dr. Bruce Lipton, intuitive healing was “cemented” in her.
At this time, Isabella became professionally certified in Rapid Transformational Therapy, and in 2018, Isabella opened her own healing practice. Her early successes included helping people with chronic illnesses reach optimal blood marker levels and even helping a person who was wheelchair-bound walk again using mind-based healing methods and combining them with ancient wisdom.
As her reputation grew, other therapists began referring clients to her. She found personal fulfillment in helping people develop themselves and reach their full potential, whether it was changing careers, improving relationships, or achieving personal growth. She saw the power of shifting mindset and using language to create an “aha moment” for her clients.
While Isabella noted significant success in her healing business, in 2021, she realized she could expand to more holistic healing methods by receiving an education focused on integrative medicine.
Studying at Quantum University
To continue her journey of operating a highly intuitive healing practice, Isabella searched for a university to pursue her PhD in advanced healing techniques. Intrigued by the program’s vast curriculum of healing mechanisms, Isabella was immediately drawn to the title and saw an opportunity to learn many different methods and subjects that she may not have been able to learn on her own cohesively.
As a lifelong learner, she believes that learning is endless, and was eager to learn from the esteemed faculty at Quantum University, including Dr. Bruce Lipton, Dr Joe Dispenza, Dr. Paul Drouin, and many others. Isabella was amazed to see the caliber of teachers on the faculty and felt like she had hit the jackpot. With the opportunity to learn from these experts in the field, Isabella decided to pursue her Ph.D. at Quantum University, knowing that she could implement every aspect of the curriculum into her own practice.
The Quantum Impact
Since receiving her PhD at Quantum University, Isabella’s healing practice has been thriving. She continues implementing everything she learned into her practice with her clients. By teaching her patients “the science behind it,” they better understand how their physical and mental health are connected. In addition, Isabella instills tools in patients so they learn tricks to “lower the brain’s maze” to help them lead healthier, happier lives.
Isabella finds that by using a combined approach, the majority of her clients achieve better results than if she had used a single approach. This approach is in line with her training at Quantum University, which emphasizes a comprehensive approach to healing. Quantum has significantly impacted Isabella’s ability to promote healing, even for those with poor diagnoses. Today, Isabella is astonished by how clients display miraculous results by training their minds and how her practice has grown and thrived through her unique holistic approach.
Overcoming Obstacles
Starting a business in the field of healing can come with its own unique challenges, just as any other business would face. Isabella faced some pushback from those who viewed her practice as entrepreneurship rather than legitimate integrative medicine. To overcome these challenges, Isabella had to take on many roles to expand and diversify her practice, such as hiring a diverse staff, operating online social media and digital marketing, and attracting clients. These tasks are constant obstacles that she faces.
With Quantum University’s educational support and mentoring, Isabella has been able to overcome the challenges she faces in her business. Working with their incredibly responsive support team, she feels a sense of shared mission and far-reaching vision, thanks to Founder, Dr. Paul Drouin. With their assistance, Isabella has been able to make a meaningful impact in her field, working with diverse individuals and providing online therapy services.
Perpetual Gratitude
Isabella is an inspiration for all students, prospective healers, and well-versed integrative medicine doctors. She often credits her success to Quantum University, stating that “it’s just absolutely mind-blowing” how despite the challenges of the education, she learned contemporary skills in a “very different perspective to mainstream science, and how we can use that for healing.”
If Isabella had one piece of advice for all people considering a path to holistic medicine, she says to be prepared for the obstacles. Life isn’t always “plain sailing,” but she believes you’ll genuinely find your way if you allow yourself the time for personal growth and balance.
