Regina is originally from Louisiana and is a member of the United Houma Nation tribe. In her spare time, she participates in hula and her local native community. Regina is very proud to be part of this lineage and legacy.
Regina Faridnia is the founder of Indigena Integrative Wellness bringing decades of health & wellness experience, supporting individuals across the lifespan in California serving diverse populations of various ages. She is also excited to offer Integrative Medicine as a separate practice which includes Wellness services, Supplement recommendations, PEMF, Polychromatic Light and Craniosacral Therapy. Her professional journey began as a clinical therapist and she later became a Brainspotting Consultant and Trainer. Her focus is integrative, person centered and neuroscience based treatment.
Regina is available to provide somatic psychotherapy, consultation, and has a wellness practice. Somatic approaches allow the brain and nervous system to process issues and move towards regulation without necessarily needing talk to occur. What this means is that neuroscience and brain-based techniques will be integrated into the work. Regina is a SEP (Somatic Experiencing Practitioner), & is EMDR Trained. She provides an integrative person-centered attachment focused approach with children, adolescents and adults which is neuroscience informed. Specialties: BIPOC community, Substance Abuse, Adoption, Developmental Trauma, Historical/Intergenerational Trauma, Oppression, ADHD, First/Second Responders, Sensory Processing Issues, Pain, Sports Performance, & Creativity Enhancement. Regina is approved by Brainspotting Trainings, LLC to provide Brainspotting Phase I, Phase II, 5-Day Intensive, as well as, Echoes & Ripples: How Trauma Interfaces with the Past Specialty Training. Regina specializes in providing consultation and training to Brainspotting clinicians. She is available to provide somatic psychotherapy, and to integrate wellness/integrative practice when offering therapeutic Intensives. Trainings can also be provided within Native communities in order to provide a higher level of focus on the technique within a cultural context and frame. Somatic approaches allow the brain and nervous system to process issues and move towards regulation without the need for talk to occur. What this means is that neuroscience and brain-based techniques will be integrated into the process. We will allow your nervous system and brain to lead the process to help the body and mind to move toward health and regulation naturally. Your unique system is honored. Shifts tend to happen organically and are better sustained than with traditional talk therapy approaches.
