Who We Need:
Arootah seeks a Director of Corporate Wellness focused on Client Program Development. This role is designed to enhance the well-being of employees within the financial services sector, specifically targeting Arootah’s clients. The Director will create, implement, and monitor programs to improve the physical and mental health of clients, using preventive means that yield measurable results. Reporting to the CEO and COO, this leadership position requires a proactive, self-starting individual to drive our Corporate Wellness initiatives and programs, aligned with the Arootah mission.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and execute robust corporate wellness programs that align with the Arootah mission
- Create, monitor, and evaluate wellness programs to ensure high participation and measurable outcomes for clients and their employees
- Collaborate with internal and external resources to deliver comprehensive corporate wellness programs for B2B clientele within the financial services sector
- Utilize Arootah tools to support clients on their wellness journeys
- Contribute to all aspects of Arootah’s Corporate Wellness services, including:
- Education: webinars and workshops
- Fitness Classes
- Health Coaching
- Specialty Health Coaching
- Renewal/Stress Management
- Specialty Programs
- Corporate Retreats
Who You Are:
- Proactive self-starter with a strong work ethic and integrity

- Flexible and agile, able to adjust programs to meet client needs
- A strong leader capable of supervising, managing, and motivating Arootah’s corporate wellness team
- Ethical and honest, ensuring client confidentiality and adherence to legal standards
- Business-savvy, able to lead marketing and sales efforts for corporate wellness programs, including social media outreach, webinars, and seminars
- Experienced in overseeing fitness and yoga program development
- Focused, and able to work under tight deadlines and stressful situations
- Culturally competent to work with diverse clients and employees
- Adaptive, with the ability to learn and teach Arootah tools
Qualifications and Requirements:
- BA in Exercise Science, Nutrition, Health, or a related field; MS is a plus
- Proven experience in developing, executing, and managing successful corporate wellness programs
- Experience in Corporate Wellness within the financial services industry; experience with alternative investments is a plus
- 5+ years of Corporate Wellness experience; 3+ years of sales experience
- Certified/licensed nutritionist and/or dietician
- Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (e.g., NBHWC, NANP); ICF certified coach is a plus
- Diversity and Inclusion Training
- Strategic and analytical experience in evaluating program performance
- Administrative and/or legal experience
- Experience supervising staff in various program implementations
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and in stressful situations
- Flexible and adaptive, able to work with a team of 20+ with varied inputs and directions
- Strong work ethic, entrepreneurial spirit, and growth mindset
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to clearly communicate with clients and their employees

- The expected base pay range for this position is $70,000-$150,000. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which may also include discretionary bonus and potential eligibility for equity, as well as other benefits described above. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on several factors, including skills, qualifications, and experience.
